Top Ten Facts about Eri

MHA Eri: Eri is arguably one of the most tragic characters in the entire My Hero Academia series (so far). Her plight drew us all in especially the series’ heroes. It was simple to see her as a girl in need of help and nothing more.

In Boku no Hero Academia, Eri becomes one of the most pitiful characters. Even so, she has a terrifying quirk that, if exploited, can be extremely dangerous. The girl with the Rewind quirk is currently quarantined in Yuuei. Here are some Eri facts from Boku no Hero Academia that you should be aware of! In this blog, we will read about Eri.

MHA Eri

1. Her Mother Chose to abandon Her

You may or may not have noticed this (given that it was revealed during a particularly tense moment in the series), but Eri’s mother is not dead. Given who was left in charge of raising her, it’s easy to believe she is.

After all, what kind of mom would entrust her daughter to someone like Overhaul? It’s no surprise that so many fans assumed he murdered her. Eri’s mother, on the other hand, willingly walked away from her daughter’s life. She did so after Eri accidentally used her Rewind ability on her father, which had disastrous results.

2. The Yakuza Boss’s Granddaughter

Shie Hassaikai, the Yakuza boss’s granddaughter, is Eri. He gave Overhaul custody of his granddaughter. The Yakuza boss, on the other hand, was taken aback when he learned of Overhaul’s diagnosis of his granddaughter. Nonetheless, he seemed to be more concerned with what Overhaul was attempting to accomplish than with what he had done to Eri.

3. Deeply Concerned

Given everything Eri had to go through, it would be fully understood if she had an emotional level shut down. After all, it’d be a natural defense mechanism. That, however, was not the case. Eri is a very sensitive and caring person.

We’ve already seen her put herself at risk for the sake of others on several occasions. She ran back to Overhaul the first time we saw her so he wouldn’t harm two boys she had just met Later, she decided to work with Deku because she actually realized that this cycle had to come to an end and that hiding only served to prolong it.

4. Her Blood’s Strength

Eri’s quirk can be activated in two ways. First, she has no idea how she did it, but she used it unconsciously when fighting Deku.

Another option is to use her blood. Eri’s quirk is activated through the use of her blood. Her blood is collected and transformed into a weapon, just as Overhaul did. If Eri had only mastered the first method, she could have developed into a very dangerous fighter.

5. Tomura-like Characteristics

Did you notice the physical resemblances between Eri and Tomura Shigaraki? We doubt there is a family connection here but then who knows? There are a few iconic pairings going on here.

Both Eri and Tomura have white/lightly colored hair (though Eri’s appears to be bluer at times). Both have bright red eyes. The parallels extend beyond that. Both have tragic background stories involving the death of loved ones as a result of their quirks. Furthermore, both of their peculiarities are unusual and one-of-a-kind. Isn’t it fascinating?

6. Likenesses to Inoue Orihime (MHA Eri)

Eri’s quirk is similar to that of Inoue Orihime’s Soten Kisshun in the Bleach anime. Eri can use her element as if it were healing abilities, but it is the capacity to rewind time. Like Orihime, who can turn back time and restore a person’s situation before they are wounded.

7. A Relative to Another Anime (MHA Eri)

Did you notice the possible link to another anime? We already know that many elements in MHA are lifted from other shows (many from comics). So it stands to reason that other anime, whether intentionally or unintentionally, had an impact.

We’re referring to a similarity in the quirk itself in this case. One could argue that Rewind’s healing component is comparable to Soten Kisshun’s healing ability (from Bleach). This may sound surprising, but we’d want to think not.

8. Eri’s Professor (MHA Eri)

Those who have read the manga may be aware that Eri has been assigned to a teacher. He is also in charge of training this blue-haired girl to control her quirk. Eraserhead is the name of that person.

Eraserhead was the only individual who could calm Eri down when her quirk got out of hand. In other phrases, being by Eraserhead’s side was best for Eri during confinement and coaching.

9. A child with Scars (MHA Eri)

Eri has been through a lot in her short life. We do not doubt that she will be emotionally scarred as a result of this. But what about the physical aspect? That is something we are less certain of. It all depends on how much Overhaul has exploited her quirk. We trust that his quirk has reset her several times.

We’re not sure because Eri was injured at the time of her rescue, based on the wrappings we see her wearing. It may or may not happen. We’re guessing she’ll have some scars – at least until she figures out how to rewind herself.

10. Horn and Her Flaw (MHA Eri)

Some of you may be unaware of Eri’s horn’s backstory. The horn is related to her peculiarity. Her talent is not only in her blood, but it has also manifested itself in her horn. When her horn vanished, her quirk was most likely rendere ineffective. Perhaps this is why Eri hasn’t been able to use her quirk until now.
